Indiana University School of Social Work is well-known for providing exceptional graduate education.  We are committed to providing helpful information and personal support as you explore the program and begin the admissions process. Every fall and spring, the School of Social Work at IU Northwest hosts multiple Information Sessions for you to come and learn about the MSW program. Dates for the sessions are listed below.

All applications received by this date are reviewed by the Admissions Committee.  Application submitted after this date are reviewed depending upon space availability.

The MSW program on the IU Northwest campus is a part time evening program.  Students begin the program in the fall semester and take classes year around for 3 years completing the program in August. Student may elect to complete the program within 3 ½ or 4 years to better accommodate their individual needs. If any student requests to spread the third or concentration year over two years in order, all course work must be completed entirely before beginning the concentration practicum.

MSW Information Sessions:
All Information Sessions are held at the School of Social Work at 3400 Broadway in Gary on the 1st floor of the library building in the conference center room110. Signs to the event will be posted at the entrance to the Conference Center. Parking is available in the main parking lot.
