In recognition of Winter Weather Week, Indiana University Northwest will participate in a winter weather emergency test on Thursday, November 21. The test will take place between 10 and 11 a.m. CST.
At the specified time, emergency test notification messages will be sent to students, faculty and staff. Please expect to be notified via email, phone, text message (SMS), social media, on-campus digital signage, and IU Northwest website updates.
Please follow all directions provided in the notification, just as you would in a real emergency.
To mimic real-world emergency procedures, a second alert will be sent to indicate the "all clear," signifying the test winter weather emergency has passed.
To ensure you receive emergency-notification alerts, please do the following:
- Log into OneStart
- Click on the “Emergency Notification” link located in the menu on the left side of the page
- Update your contact information
- Click “save”
