IU Northwest is here to help the workforce of tomorrow handle these situations with finesse and help you “build your brand” during the annual Career Week scheduled for April 2 – 5.

Attendees will get practical tips about etiquette and manners, as well as handling introductions, the handshake, small talk, dressing for success, and tipping. Social gatherings, luncheons and dinner interviews will also be addressed.
Costs for event: $10 for students; $20 for IU Alumni Association members; and $30 for all other interested individuals. Seating is limited and registration is due Friday, March 22.

Learn the do’s and don’ts of dressing for an interview, a business casual event, or even a professional black tie function.
Makeup artist to the stars Tia Dantzler will also offer professional cosmetic advice.Dantzler’s work has graced the covers and pages of national magazines like Vogue, GQ, Life and Glamour. A few of her noteworthy clients included President Barack Obama, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, and Chandra Wilson.
