The Indiana University Northwest Alumni Association invites the community to meet eight local authors with IU Northwest ties.

“Pop-Up Art,” organized in collaboration with the Lake Street Gallery, is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Miller neighborhood gallery, located at 613 S. Lake St. in Gary.

The alumni association at IU Northwest sponsors a “Lifelong Learning” series on various topics to encourage continuous learning. This month’s event goes on the road in order to bring the authors together with community members who want to meet them in person and learn more about their work.
