William Allegrezza

Dr. Allegrezza teaches creative writing, professional writing, composition, and literature classes. His primary interest is in contemporary poetry in the Americas. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Louisiana State University, a M.A. in English from LSU, and a B.A. in English and Foreign Languages from the University of Dallas.

He has published fourteen books. Ten were books of poetry, such as Fragile Replacements, Collective Instance, and temporal nomads. Three were poetry anthologies, like The Alteration of Silence: Recent Chilean Poetry and La Alteración del Silencio: Poesía Norteamericana Reciente. One was an edited collection of scholarly essays: The Salt Companion to Charles Bernstein. His poetry, reviews, and translations have been published in many countries and have been translated into Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
