Departmental Requirements Chemistry: 48 credit hours minimum. Requirements are the same as for the B.S. degree except CHEM-C 483 is required. Chemistry courses may be taken as electives but are not required for the B.S. (A.C.S.) degree. PHYS-P 301; or an advanced mathematics or physics course. Also required: MATH-M 215 - MATH-M 216, MATH-M 311; PHYS-P 221 - PHYS-P 222; and CSCI-C 201. German is strongly suggested as the foreign language.
